City Museum - Via Luigi Tonini, 1 16.00 The Rimini Museum hosts a conference on the theme of peace and how Japan has dealt with it, the conference will have guests and authorities from Japan, Italy and San Marino and will invite young audiences to a debate on the contents of Anime and Manga.
City Museum - Via Luigi Tonini, 1 18.00 In 1951 Chiyoji Nakagawa collects coins, sword handles, bullets, military and religious coats of arms, copper plates and more from over 60 countries, plus 9 gold coins received from Pope Pius XII and makes the peace bell, on whose surface he engraves the inscription 世界絶対平和萬歳 ("absolute peace in the world"). In 2019 the twin bell is born that is donated to the Republic of San Marino, the tolling of the bell will ring in Rimini on July 15th, accompanied by a performance of Japanese drums.
Francesca da Rimini Arena - piazza Malatesta, 27 21.00 Screening of Isao Takahata's timeless masterpiece, a film that shows with raw realism the worst side of the war, seen through the eyes of two children.

Court of the Augustinians - Via Cairoli n. 40 21.00 The Classic Swing Orchestra plays music related to Diabolik, such as the soundtracks composed by Ennio Morricone, Pivio and Aldo De Scalzi, Manuel Agnelli and other hits, at the same time the guest artists of the festival draw live with projections on a giant screen behind the stage.

The exhibition DIABOLIK/A tells the story of the women who have marked the history of the magazine, from the mysterious Kalissa, designer of the second issue of the King of Terror, to the screenwriters who have joined the Giussani over the years. Inside the exhibition the figure of Eva Kant, co-protagonist of Diabolik, is deepened.

The exhibition dedicated to the images taken by the American photographer Joe O'Donnell in the aftermath of the tragedy that struck Japan in August 1945. The images of NAGASAKY Beyond relaunch a message aimed at the future, beyond borders, beyond nations, beyond religions, beyond hatred, only for peace.
