Making beautiful comics does not only mean drawing well: it also means, above all, knowing how to tell.

The first comics workshop organized by Cartoon Club will focus on this, and will teach how to manage the direction and storytelling of a board. Why choose one shot instead of another. In what pose to put the characters to convey the very idea we have in mind. How the elements in a cartoon affect the reading of the entire page

The workshop will be held by Stefano Caselli, one of the most interesting pencils of Marvel Comics, and is aimed at young people and adults who already have rudiments of comics.

It will develop in two moments in the classroom, two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon. Lunch, on the other hand, will be an opportunity to deepen the knowledge with Caselli in a convivial atmosphere.

The workshop will be held on Thursday 14 July at the Museum of the City “Luigi Tonini”, in via Luigi Tonini 1, from 10:30 to 16:00.

Registration costs € 60 per person, and also includes lunch at the restaurant.

Generic drawing material (sheets, pencils, erasers) will be provided; each participant is invited to bring with him any other tools he usually uses to draw.
