In May 1932, in the short film Mickey’s Revue, a tall disturbed the show staged by Mickey Mouse with his funny laugh.
His name was Dippy Dawg, but two years later he took the name Goofy, and since then he has never abandoned Mickey Mouse.
Let’s celebrate the most beloved unscrewed of comics, able to be both comic sidekick, crazy protagonist and almost heroic character, in the company of those who know him well: the historian of comics and animation Federico Fiecconi, Valentina De Poli, who directed Mickey Mouse for 11 years, the designer Claudio Sciarrone and screenwriter Fausto Vitaliano, who a few years ago put Goofy in the shoes of Don Pipotte, reversing the roles of hero and squire between him and Mickey Mouse.
