In 2021 Cartoon Club awarded the graphic novel with the special mention of the Premio Fede a Strisce Roberto Ramberti, in 2022 it dedicates to this female figure an exhibition taken from the Graphic novel illustrated by Pia Valentinis and Giancarlo Ascari , which tells the life of Armida Barelli and her extraordinary encounters with other protagonists of Italian Catholicism such as Father Agostino Gemelli, Giuseppe Toniolo, Benedict XV and Pius XI, in the frame of over half a century of Italian history.

An extraordinary woman who, thanks to her determination, contributed to the birth of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and played a decisive role in the emancipation of women in the early twentieth century.

Armida Barelli was an exceptional figure of woman who left a significant trace in the Church but also in Italian culture and society, a trace still clearly visible in the institutions she founded and followed, and which continue their history, even in new contexts, striving to be faithful to the intuitions and commitment that inspired them.

The book edited by the journalist Tiziana Ferrario and the exhibition are realized in collaboration with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and the Istituto Giuseppe Toniolo. The exhibition is in collaboration with the Paul VI Cultural Association of Rimini.

Armida Barelli was beatified on April 30, 2022 at the Duomo of Milan with a solemn rite presided over by Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints and representative of Pope Francis
