Dedicato ai film d’animazione prodotti da studenti di scuole d’animazione italiane ed estere.
Il Premio Signor Rossi è rivolto ai giovani registi che realizzano i loro cortometraggi animati durante i corsi di cinema d’animazione presso accademie, università, scuole specializzate.
Le scuole hanno l’obiettivo di coltivare talento e creatività, competenze artistiche e tecniche. In questi istituti si formano i giovani professionisti dotati di una conoscenza globale del processo creativo e produttivo dei film d’animazione, e di know-how specifici come CGI 2D e 3D, stop motion, character e production design, scenografia, storytelling, compositing, regia.
I film, spesso realizzati come saggi di diploma, presentano una grandissima varietà nelle tecniche utilizzate e nelle tematiche affrontate, dimostrando la validità dei percorsi scolastici di provenienza.
