Descrizione: Laura Cappon is a journalist, correspondent of Mezz’ora in più, Rai 3, and writes for Domani. She has collaborated with Italian newspapers, such as Il Fatto Quotidiano and Radio Popolare, and international newspapers, such as Radiotelevisione Svizzera Italiana, Al-Jazeera and The New Arab. She joined Gad Lerner in the reports of Rai 3. She is an expert on Egyptian affairs and has lived in Cairo for a few years. He told stories from several countries in the Middle East including Lebanon, Iraq and Qatar. In 2013 he won the L’Isola che c’è prize for covering the Egyptian coup, and in 2017 the Mediterranean Peace Envoy award for a series of articles on Giulio Regeni.
