Screening: Mavka and the Enchanted Forest
The Ukrainian animated feature film was directed by Oleksandra Ruban and Oleh Malamuzh and produced by Animagrad and Film.UA Group studios in Kjiv (Ukraine).
The film, which ended with great difficulty with Ukraine already in conflict with Russia, promotes a message of environmental responsibility and nature preservation: Mavka and the Enchanted Forest is also a film of resistance that blends myth with current reality, reminding us of the importance of love and mutual trust to avoid giving in to war.
The film receives the Cartoon Club Award for the environment year 2023
