DI SOGNI E DI SEGNI (DREAMS AND DRAWINGS): FELLINI AND MANARA

The relationship between Milo Manara, one of Italy’s most celebrated comic artists and illustrators, and Federico Fellini, the great director from Rimini, is explored in an exhibition presented by Cartoon Club and organized in collaboration with Comicon. Between the two artists, there was not only a long-standing personal friendship, but also a creative partnership that gave life to painted movie posters by Manara, two comic stories, and a variety of projects—including illustrations for cruise ships dedicated to the director. It’s a lesser-known side of Manara’s career, one that ties the author of Cartoon Club’s 2025 poster closely to the city of Rimini.

WHAT ARE WARS?

Curated by the students of 5B Figurative Arts, Liceo Artistico Mengaroni of Pesaro An intense and moving exhibition that questions the present through the eyes of the younger generation. Inspired by the films and writings of Pier Paolo Pasolini, the students of 5B Figurative Arts at Liceo Artistico Mengaroni of Pesaro create a visual and narrative journey through the montage of war images and the gazes of men and puppets, blending fiction and reality, past and present. Their images, powerful and full of meaning, become a contemporary denunciation of violence, opening a deep dialogue between memory and modern times.
