Sara Aceti sorride davanti a una mostra di tavole a fumetti. Giovane autrice italiana, vincitrice di concorsi e muralista.

Born in 2003, I graduated with top marks from the Nervi-Severini Art High School in Ravenna, specializing in Figurative Arts. After that, I began studying what has always been my greatest passion: comics.

I recently completed the three-year Comics course at the International School of Comics in Reggio Emilia (as of July).

During my education, I took part in numerous artistic and work-related experiences:

– Participated in five editions of the Murals Contest in Sante Marie (AQ), completing four murals on the themes: Landscapes, stories of past and present, and traditional games

– Involved in the Lavori in Comune Ravenna project and several weeks of creative volunteer work over three years, including a mural at the Savio elementary school, mosaic-painted benches in Castiglione di Ravenna, and a stop-motion cartoon in Roncalceci (RA)

– Participated in the comic contest launched by La Revue Dessinée Italia on the theme “How to live without a smartphone,” creating two comic pages

– Collaborated with Gianni Zauli as assistant on two stop-motion short films in San Pietro in Campiano, part of the Lavori in Comune Ravenna project

– Took part in the exhibition Acqua Matrigna by Fumettoteca Callegati “Calle,” with two comic pages on display

– Participated in the perCorso di fumetto and in the comic contest PlasmiAMO il futuro: 50 sfumature di giallo organized by Fumettoteca Callegati, winning first prize in the external participants category

Participated in the Fold It YourSelf comic contest by ARF! Festival in Rome, exhibiting my project among the 54 selected nationally
