Maxem
Giuseppe Montagna, aka Maxem, was born in Catania in 1996.
After attending technical school in Catania, he moved to Tuscany at 19 to work as a metalworker.
At 20, he quit his job to enroll in the newly created Graphics and Illustration course at the Academy in Catania, where he met Kizazu.
After finishing his three-year studies, he moved to Bologna to attend the Comic Languages course at the Academy. There, along with Kizazu, he founded the Boscodinotte collective, publishing posters and short comics until self-publishing a first version of the graphic novel I fiori di filo spinato.
