Maria Carolina Terzi is a highly respected film producer in the Italian cinematic landscape. Her career began in 2003, when she served as Head of Communication and Marketing at Istituto Luce Cinecittà, a major Italian cultural institution, where she worked until 2010. During this period, she played a key role in promoting and enhancing Italian cinema both nationally and internationally.

In 2010, together with Luciano and Carlo Stella, she founded the film production company Mad Entertainment in Naples, marking the beginning of a new and promising phase of her career. The company quickly gained prominence in the film industry, with a special focus on innovative and high-quality projects.

In 2018, Maria Carolina Terzi won the prestigious David di Donatello award for Best Producer thanks to the success of Cinderella the Cat by Alessandro Rak, an animated film acclaimed both nationally and internationally. In the same year, she also produced Achille Tarallo by Antonio Capuano.

In 2023, she was elected president of Cartoon Italia, strengthening her commitment to the growth of Italian animation. That same year, she received her second David di Donatello nomination for the film Nostalgia by Mario Martone.
