Born in 1974, he made his debut in 1995 with a superhero mini-series called Nembo, published by Phoenix.

Shortly after, he joined the ranks of Star Comics, where he worked on a couple of issues of the comic series Samuel Sand.
From 1998, Marco began a long career as a penciller for the Bonelli series Mister No, drawing around ten issues.

A regular collaborator with Sergio Bonelli Editore, the Tuscan artist also joined the International School of Comics in Florence, where he teaches comics and 3D graphics.

As co-creator of Termite Bianca, Marco also had the opportunity to explore another of his passions: scriptwriting.

From 2006 to 2008, he worked as penciller on Tex, Bonelli’s most iconic character, creating three issues and one special colored edition years later.

Between 2008 and 2011, after finishing his Tex run, Santucci began collaborating with Marvel Comics, working on titles such as:
Secret Invasion: The Amazing Spider-Man (3-issue miniseries)
X-Factor
Siege: Spider-Man
Captain America: Forever Allies

In 2011, Marco also entered the French market with Soleil Editions, creating the two-volume series La Mandragore as both visual designer and artist.

Until 2016, while continuing international collaborations, he also worked on Bonelli’s Dampyr.
Since 2016, Marco has been collaborating with DC Comics, illustrating stories featuring Superman, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Wonder Woman, Green Lanterns (2018), Batman Beyond, Shazam!, Swamp Thing, Justice League, and Green Lantern (2021).

As a cover artist, he has created covers for:
