Mamoru Yokota, born in 1963, is a Japanese animator and illustrator.

He made his debut in 1991 as an intercalator on Ranma 1/2 – The 7 Gods of Fortune, and then over the years he has been involved in animation direction, storyboards and character design for numerous films and animated series such as Fist of the North Star – The Legend of Hokuto, One Piece, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, and Tiger Mask W.

As an illustrator he has collaborated with Gainax (Evangelion) and Capcom (Street Fighter).

He will be a guest at Cartoon Club thanks to the collaboration with Nippon Shock Edizioni.
