Junichi Hayama
Junichi Hayama (1965) made his debut at the age of eighteen as an animator for Onion Production’s Gu Gu Ganmo series, and for the same studio he collaborated on Western series such as Transformers and G.I. Joe.
In 1984, under the wing of master Masami Suda, he began drawing Fist of the North Star for the animated series and, two years later, for the first animated film.
In 1987 he was then chosen as animation director for the second series of Ken, a character to which he continued to remain attached throughout his career, collaborating on subsequent incarnations.
Over the years, he has been a character designer, animator or animation director of series such as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Yu-Gi-Oh, My Hero Academia, Tiger Mask W and Berserk.
He will be a guest at Cartoon Club thanks to the collaboration with Nippon Shock Edizioni.
