Greta Xella
Greta Xella is an Italian author.
Since 2012 she has been working with self-publishing, including Attaccapanni Press, for which she creates covers and short stories in anthology volumes such as Unsistered, Lepidophylla and Theseus.
In 2015 she approaches her first long-form comic as an artist: Karmapolis, published by RenBooks.
In 2017 she is awarded by Carlo Chendi as Best Italian Debut Author at the Rapallo Comics Festival, and in 2021 she debuts as a solo author with the comic Figlia di Luna, published by Bao Publishing, for which she is nominated for Best Artwork and Screenplay at the Boscarato Prize in Treviso.
The book has been translated and published in Spain and France.
In 2024 she collaborates with Francesca Picozzi and publishes Perché sei qui? with Tunuè, a comic about therapy and introspection—topics always dear to the author.
To date, Greta works with various Italian and international publishers and productions, including Bao Publishing, Tunuè, Disney, Dynamite, etc.
