Director and teacher of cinema and animation

Born in Taranto and Roman by adoption. Promoter of cinema, comics and animation.

He learned the art of cinema working, among others, with masters such as Ivano De Matteo and Franco Zeffirelli.

Videomaker, author and director of documentary films, backstage videos and music videos.

In 2015 he completed the film Animeland – Tales between manga, anime and cosplay, about the Italian and European passion for these Japanese art forms, with exclusive interviews with artists, both Italian and not, such as Valerio Mastandrea, Caparezza, Paola Cortellesi, Maurizio Nichetti, mangaka Yoichi Takahashi, anime character designer Masami Suda, actor and director Shinya Tsukamoto and Oscar-winning French director Michel Gondry.

In recent years, he has worked on several fronts between cinema and animation, curated exhibitions (such as the Japanese section of the exhibition AniMA. The Magic of Animated Cinema from Snow White to Grendizer, held in Florence in 2021), teaches (he has been teaching Japanese Animation History at Nemo Academy in Florence since 2018 and Cinematographic Photography at Link Campus University in Rome since 2024) and collaborates with physicist and cartoonist Andrea Romoli (author of the Japanese animated series Spaceship Sagittarius produced by Nippon Animation in 1986).
