Fabrizio Modina
Fabrizio Modina deals simultaneously with teaching in the world of fashion design and the history of Modern Mythology.
As a collector and historian he participated in the creation of the exhibitions Watch Me Move! of the Barbican Art Gallery in London and Cose da un Altro Mondo del Museo Nazionale del Cinema di Torino, for which he also co-curated Manga Impact, the world of Japanese Animation .
He was a member of the scientific committees of the Kyoto-Tokyo exhibitions, des Samouraïs aux Mangas for the Grimaldi Forum of the Principality of Monaco and Japan: from Samurai to Mazinger for Casa dei Carraresi in Treviso.
As co-curator he has worked on Warriors from the Rising Sun, Manga Impact, Robot: The Human Project and Diana, a free spirit. For the Complesso del Vittoriano in Rome he created Star Wars Play, an exhibition-event on the history of Star Wars.
He wrote the prefaces of the manga of the Super Robot Collection series, in partnership between J-Pop, Tutto Sport and Corriere dello Sport. His three-volume encyclopedic trilogy Super Robot Files published by J-Pop is considered the only one of its kind to deal with the phenomenon of steel giants in a Western language.
Since 2022 he has been the promoter and president of the M-Cube Foundation, created to enhance and disseminate the huge Italian heritage referred to Modern Mythology, through a path of reconnaissance, archiving and conservation both on a physical and virtual level.
