Christian Cornia was born in Modena (Italy) in 1975. In 1996 he attended the “Nuova Eloise” School of Comics in Bologna, but he considers himself a self-taught artist. In 2011, together with other artists, he founded the cultural association Dr.INK, with which he self-publishes illustration books. He collaborates with the international agency Advocate Art and teaches in the Animation and Comics course at the International School of Comics in Reggio Emilia. He has created illustrations and characters for publishing, advertising, video games and role-playing games for the European and American markets. He has also worked as a colorist for the French market and as an inker for Marvel USA. He works for the USA collaborating with various publishers, often encountering Warner Bros characters, especially Scooby-Doo. Recently, he worked with Insight Edition on a Star Trek-themed book.

He is the illustrator for the “Brina” series, published by Tunué and written by Giorgio Salati.
