Barbara Belzini is a film and television critic, journalist, and cultural educator. She writes for the daily newspaper Libertà and is a member of the Italian National Union of Film Critics (SNCCI), a historic cultural association founded in 1971 that promotes film culture through criticism and editorial activities.

With a solid background in cultural dissemination, she is involved in organizing festivals, film series, and literary events, curating content, author talks, and thematic deep-dive sessions. Her work is characterized by a particular focus on the relationship between cinema, society, and younger generations.

As a trainer specialized in Visual Education, she has been selected for the National Cinema and Images for Schools Plan, promoted by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture. This initiative aims to foster a new visual literacy among students and teachers. In this role, she designs and leads educational programs that combine audiovisual language with teaching practices, developing critical tools for interpreting contemporary media and imagery.

Her work combines a passion for cinema, journalistic expertise, and dedication to cultural education, helping make audiovisual language accessible, conscious, and a key part of both individual and collective growth.
