Alterium
Alterium is the new power metal band led by Nicoletta Rosellini (ex. Kalidia, Walk in Darkness).
The band, born at the end of 2022, is announced in the summer of 2023 to coincide with the signing of the recording contract with the historic German label AFM Records. Under the guidance of producer Lars Rettkowitz (Freedom Call), Alterium recorded their first album and began to release a series of successful singles that quickly led to over 1 million views on YouTube and to be published in several editorial playlists (Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal, Apple Music). The impact of their music extends beyond digital platforms, so much so that the band is invited to perform at international festivals (Germany, Denmark, Holland, Italy) without having yet released an album.
In January 2024, the band released the single Crossroads Inn inspired by the video game of the same name, released in partnership with the production company Klabater, accompanied by a fun video set in a medieval fantasy tavern.
The debut album Of War And Flames is released on March 8, 2024 and is a triumph of catchy melodies, memorable choruses, powerful sounds, granite guitar riffs and majestic arrangements, all mastered by Achim Koehler.
The themes of the album refer to the fantasy world (with songs inspired by both video games and literature), mythology and history.
After the success of critics and audiences, the band is already working on the next album, as well as engaging in concerts all over Europe, thanks also to the signing with the German booking agency Dragon Productions.
