IT’S NOT LOVE IF IT HURTS

Don’t stay indifferent. Every little gesture counts. Speak up, listen, make your voice heard. If you see something wrong, don’t look away. Violence is fought together—with awareness, courage, and solidarity.From July 17 to 20, during Cartoon Club & RiminiComix 2025, a help desk will be set up in Piazzale Fellini to raise awareness against violence on women. The stand is organized by the Festival in collaboration with Donne ACLI Rimini and Noi Donne. Female professionals and volunteers engaged in the fight against discrimination and gender-based violence will be present to welcome you, offer useful information, and help you recognize all forms of abuse: physical, psychological, digital, sexual, or controlling behaviors. A flyer will be distributed at the event, produced for the Festival and illustrated by Ilarius and Maria Starace, artists from the collective The Rimineser, an imaginary magazine that tells the story of Rimini through illustration, curated by Luca Cavalieri and Caterina Mendolicchio. SPEAKING IS THE FIRST STEP TO ESCAPE VIOLENCE.If you are a victim or a witness, you are not alone: ask for help.

2025 Lifetime Achievement Award to Milo Manara

This recognition is awarded to celebrate the outstanding contribution Milo Manara has made to the world of comics and illustration.With his unmistakable linework and his ability to narrate imagination through art, Manara has captivated generations of readers and profoundly influenced contemporary visual culture. The 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by Cartoon Club, pays tribute to a figure who has elevated comics to a widely recognized and internationally acclaimed art form.

This year, the festival gifts itself an authentic icon of the ninth art: Milo Manara is the author of the official poster.The artist has imagined one of his unmistakable female figures: elegant, sensual, and relaxed by the pool of the Grand Hotel in Rimini, with the summer sea and the vibrant energy of Fellini’s city in the background. We picture her just like this—after reading a comic and watching a great film—under the “blessing” of Federico Fellini, a devoted lover of the ninth art.

THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN! CARTOON CLUB ON THE ROAD – WAITING FOR THE 2025 FESTIVAL

While we await the 2025 edition, Cartoon Club on the Road brings the best of animation across the region, going beyond the boundaries of the traditional Rimini-based festival. The goal is clear: to take animated cinema where it rarely reaches—into less frequented areas, on the edges of the Riviera, far from crowded beaches and the lights of mainstream tourism. At a time when many communities no longer have a local cinema and access to culture is increasingly concentrated in urban centers, we feel a responsibility to offer moments of collective viewing and shared cultural experiences capable of generating beauty, connection, and reflection.We consciously choose off-route locations because we believe every community has the right to experience cinema not only as entertainment, but as a chance for encounter, growth, and mutual recognition. Our screen opens in hills, villages, courtyards, and remote areas—where teens, families, young people, and elders can gather under the stars to watch, listen, and feel. Because cinema—especially animated cinema—can be a bridge.And we want to build it, where it’s needed most. If you want to attend the screenings, here is the  Cartoon Club on the Road program.

Are you passionate about animation?Do you enjoy short films?Would you like to be on the jury of a film festival? If the answer to all three is YES, here’s the perfect opportunity for YOU! This year, Cartoon Club will select 80 animation lovers to help decide the winners of the "Signor Rossi Award" and the "Cartoon Club Award": the prizes for the best animated short films selected by the Festival. Your tasks: Attend the animated short film screenings, which will take place in Rimini on July 17 and 18, starting at 8:00 PM Watch the films selected by the artistic committee (about 2 hours and 30 minutes of screening each evening, until midnight) Assign a score to each film and fill in the voting sheet provided by our staff Want to be part of the Cartoon Club 2025 jury? K-POP DANCE CONTEST @ RIMINICOMIX 2025

Soloists on the Community Stage + Crews on the Main Stage – Saturday afternoon Riminicomix is ready to light up the city with one of the most anticipated events of the summer season: the Emilia Romagna stop of the K-POP DANCE FIGHT FEST, an explosion of rhythm, energy, and talent straight from the heart of Asian pop culture! If you love Korean music, perfect moves, idol aesthetics, and the thrill of live performance… this is your moment! K-Pop, with its catchy beats, spectacular choreographies and iconic looks, has become a global phenomenon, uniting thousands of fans from all over the world. And now, it’s finally back on the Riminicomix stage, ready to make the entire Riviera dance. On our stages, dance crews, soloists, and cover groups will perform the greatest hits of K-pop superstars — from BTS to Blackpink, Ateez to (G)I-dle — reinterpreting them with passion and originality.A special jury of industry experts, professional performers, and choreographers will judge the performances based on technique, synchronization, stage presence, and faithfulness to K-pop style.
