After a shipwreck, a container full of robots washes ashore on a wild and pristine island. Among them, only one reactivates: Rozzum, or Roz for short, a robot designed for caregiving. At first confused and unsuited for the natural environment, Roz gradually learns to understand the island’s animals, the language of nature, and even how to raise an orphaned gosling.
Over time, the robot develops emotions, empathy, and a deep bond with her newfound community.
Based on the best-selling children’s book by Peter Brown, the film blends adventure, ecology, and science fiction into a moving reflection on what it means to be alive.
