The Bassa reaches as far as the Apennines. Presentation of Don Camillo’s comic book pocket and Julian’s
with Davide Barzi, Stefano Fantelli, Marcello Mangiantini and Francesco Petronelli. Moderated by Loris Cantarelli
Two very different comic books but united by a common spirit and literary origin.
Don Camillo’s pocket comics have now become a tradition of Cartoon Club, now in its 7th release, and adapt the original stories by Giovannino Guareschi in collaboration with ReNoir Comics. This year’s release, Litigare è necessario, by Davide Barzi and Francesco Petronelli, is enriched by the publication in an unprecedented form of the short story Il cane, drawn by Roberto “Dakar” Meli, nominated in 2023 for the Eisner Awards.
Julian, on the other hand, is the comic book adaptation of a gothic tale by the writer Carlo Lucarelli, scripted by Davide Fantelli, drawn by Marcello Mangiantini and published by Cut-Up Publishing.
