Professional Background Art
Davide Fabbri, illustrator for Star Wars, Planet of the Apes, Hellblazer, Batman, The Stranger, is the teacher of the Background Art course.
The Workshop will focus on the study and professional realization of environments (both naturalistic and architectural) in the world of comics and illustration and on the integration of characters with them. Fabbri will explain his working methods, bringing numerous examples suitable for the topic.
Professional Fantasy Art
Gianluca Pagliarani, cartoonist and illustrator, since 2012 has been the illustrator of Dragonero, a series published by Sergio Bonelli Editore of which he is the current cover artist.
The Workshop will focus on Fantasy, its most important graphic elements and all the theoretical and technical logics related to the creation of a comic strip or an illustration of this kind.
Pagliarani will explain his working methods, bringing numerous examples suitable for the topic.
Professional Storyboard
Candida Corsi, professional illustrator for Salani (with books such as “The Book of Lost Wonders” and “The Magic of Fantasy”), Dark Zone and Cranio Creation (with the games “Winstar Rats” and “Point Art”), is the teacher of the course on Storyboarding applied to animated cinema and advertising.
The Workshop will therefore focus on the creation of a Storyboard, on the way to build narration and direction in a visual way, a fundamental element not only of film productions but also of comics and illustration.
Professional Digital Color
Sergio Algozzino, comic book author, illustrator for Dylan Dog, regular presence on Linus, has to his credit numerous Graphic Novels written and drawn published in Italy and France.
The Workshop will focus on Professional Digital Coloring, with examples and technical explanations related to Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint and Procreate.
Algozzino will explain his working methods, bringing numerous examples suitable for the topic.
