Metacomix Live – Comic classics reinterpreted in real-time animation.
An opportunity to review in compact form many works of the golden age of comics often forgotten, reworked exclusively live in an engaging roundup of animations.
Emblematic comixes, from the 30s to the 60s, such as Blonde Panther, Phantom, Radio Patrol, Mandrache, Flash Gordon, Ace Of Spades, Amok, Jeff Hawke and others, reworked in a live animation performance, with xerox art techniques, decoupage and dynamic chromatic graphic compositions. The hands compose the video at the moment of the representation, which is assembled and created only for the live performance, accompanied by the music, in a session poised between study and improvisation. Saul Saguatti / Basmati video, a multimedia artistic group, has always been interested in the contamination between art, comics, video and animation, experimenting with both the most traditional techniques and recent digital techniques.
Live music with Banda Rulli Frulli
A band of inclusion that gives everyone the opportunity to feel welcomed and valued, where everyone can participate by playing instruments invented, built and colored together. The line-up for Cartoon Club 2024 will be composed of Enea Scomparin, Luca Ronchetti, Lorenzo Bergamini, Sara Setti, Mario Muzzioli, Frank Mauricio Viaggi and Eleonora Tassinari.
