The Great Mazinger, also known as The Great Mazinger, is an anime series that is part of one of the most famous mecha cycles in the world. A pillar of Japanese animation, he remains one of the favorite characters among fans of the genre to this day. Created by the brilliant mind of master Go Nagai, it is the sequel to the Mazinger Z series, another historic cartoon of the time. The first episode aired on September 8, 1974 in Japan. Consisting of 56 episodes, the series is placed in the same narrative universe as “Mazinger Z” and “UFO Robot Goldrake”.
Parallel to the anime, the manga was also developed, made by Gosaku Ota, which further deepens the characters.
