Exhibitions open from 12 to 31 July
The International Film Festival of Animation Cinema, Comics and Games returns to Rimini with a formula that combines live and online events. It will be dedicated to the safeguard of the planet and it will pay homage to Dante Alighieri on the 700th anniversary of his death.
The 2021 edition will begin on July 12th and will take place between the historic center and the seaside area, touching the most evocative places: the Square on the Water, the Agostiniani Court, the Tiberio Cinema, the City Museum, the Art Space Augeo art gallery, and Federico Fellini Square.
We will present 250 animated short films from all over the world, feature films, specific programs for children and families, and workshops for the public, with industry experts. From July 15th to 18th, in Federico Fellini Square, Riminicomix will be back; it’s the market exhibition for fans of comics, artists, memorabilia and curiosities. The public will also enjoy the colorful Cosplay Convention and a new section dedicated to Games, particularly to E-Sports.
Meetings will take place, with authors, directors, designers, screenwriters, journalists. The meetings will be also available in live streaming.
The exhibitions will be open until July 31st.
To ensure the safety of the participants, the Festival will adapt the events to the anticovid rules that will be announced in June; for this reason it is important to check the entry procedures for the appointments, on our communication channels.
