Maurizio Giuseppe Lagana was one of the greatest exponents of Italian animation, a member of ASIFA Italy, for years one of the most attentive staff of Bruno Bozzetto, author of many animated commercials for big brands, has created and designed the famous strip and He worked as an illustrator and journalist with many magazines including "Il Corriere dei Piccoli", Corriere della Sera, Cosmopolitan and others.
He has taught at the European Institute of Design and has been a lecturer for the Degree Course DAMS University of Udine / Gorizia and speaker of the "masters" of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
He has served on several selection committees and juries of the most important animation festivals, Italian and international. He has made Pixnocchio-the first ever animated feature film made in Italy.
Many awards received during his career and about 50 films made last Treasure Island, a 26 serial episodes of 26 minutes each one came out in 2015.
